“Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of his pasture.” Psalm 100:3 NIV
There are some days where I wake up and some of the pressures ahead in that day rush into my thoughts and begin to slide me away from a place of peace and into a place of worry, stress, and anxiety. Praise the Lord that this is not one of those mornings.
I woke up today with multiple reminders of my humble place in the hands of a mighty God who is not only supremely powerful, but amazingly loving. He always is working things out for my good (Romans 8:28) and is strong enough to defeat any problem that might seem insurmountable for me.
Knowing that I completely and fully belong to such an AWESOME God gives me peace. Knowing that it is ultimately not in my power to succeed or fail, but His and that whether the chips fall into place or it feels as though things fall apart, It is all part of the potter’s plans to make something beautiful in me and from me.
Today’s prayer: Father, continue to shape and mold me into who I need to be to fulfill your will. I am YOURS.
